[K-ETA] Travel Information - National Hangeul Museum

The National Hangeul Museum was established to preserve, disseminate, and develop the Korean alphabet, Hangul.

We are introducing the history and value of Hangul orthography, our most precious cultural asset, through exhibitions, activities, and education. If you are interested in Hangul, I recommend a visit.

The museum, with a total size of 11,322㎡, consists of one underground floor and three above-ground floors, and is equipped with an outdoor lawn and lounge, making it suitable for cultural events, exhibitions, and education.

The museum consists of a Korean language library on the first floor, a permanent exhibition hall on the second floor, a cafe, a cultural product store, and a special exhibition room for children and foreigners and a Korean playground on the third floor. There are various spaces, right?

Main facilities

[B1] Auditorium

[1st floor] Korean Library Classroom

[2nd floor] Permanent exhibition room, cafe & culture product store

[3F] Hangeul Playground, Special Exhibition Room

Address: 139 Seobinggo-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
