What happens if K-ETA is still under assessment?

The K-ETA application is still under assessment despite applying 72 hours ago and the flight date is in the next 5 to 7 days.

Can I apply for K-eTA at the airport?

No, the K-ETA will be requested upon boarding by the airline or shipping company. This document is not issued at Seoul Incheon airport. Immigration officials do not have a dedicated counter for this procedure on arrival.

Can I enter Korea without a K-eTA?

You must have a valid U.S. passport and a visa or an approved Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) to enter Korea. Most U.S. passport holders traveling to Korea for tourism or business purposes for less than 90 days can obtain a K-ETA.

Can I apply for K-eTA twice?

K-ETA is valid for 2 years once issued. It can be used for multiple times within its validity.

Is eTA stamped on passport?

Your eTA is linked to the passport you used to apply.

You need to present this passport when you check-in to your flight to Korea. You don't need to print out any special document. The airline staff will scan your passport to confirm that you have a valid eTA.
